(1 being the activity you preferred).

1/ Having breakfast with the British adults and the French senior

2/Watching the two sketches

3/ Listening to the seniors' songs

4/ Looking for information about the commune

5/ Watching photos about the commune

6/ Answering questions about the Vendée department.

Write down sentences using the expressions above and justify them.

First, I liked watching the clip performed by the two students because they were great.

I liked having breakfast with British adults because they encouraged me even if I made mistakes.

First, I also enjoyed having breakfast because it was enriching to speak to British adults and breakfast was delicious.

It was a good experience for communication.

I was interested in the seniors’ songs because it was touching. We went to sing with them.

I was not really interested in answering the questions about the department because we did not have time to answer all the questions.

But, I didn’t like listening to the seniors’ songs because it’s not my cup of tea!

Comments about the British adult(s):

They were cool because when we made a mistake, they corrected us.

He was very kind but did not speak a lot.

They tried to correct our pronunciation.

They were nice and involved. They wanted to find the answers in all the activities.

They helped me when I was in difficulty.

She explained very well and I understood everything.

Comments about the French adult(s):

The French senior was pleased to hear of British culture

He knows the commune very well because he was the mayor for many years.

That’s a pity she did not speak English but she was really very kind.

The French adult did not speak English but when she did, she tried to do her best.

We did not have a French adult in our team.

They were nice with us and well integrated in the team. I think they improved.

The gentleman was so nice and so was the lady. They played the game!

IMAGINE A SENTENCE WHICH RHYMES TO DEFINE THE PROJECT.

“D.O.D.I. PROJECT creates good mood!”.

“God Save D.O.D.I. PROJECT!”.

“D.O.D.I. PROJECT sounds extraordinary!”.

“D.O.D.I. PROJECT has no pancakes but it’s still perfect!”.

“D.O.D.I. PROJECT sounds fantastic and awesome!”.
