Welcome to D.O.D.I. PROJECT twentieth edition. After visiting eighteen communes around La Châtaigneraie, DODI PROJECT arrived last year in the district of Pouzauges  and more precisely in the commune of Réaumur.  Today, we feel very happy to meet you in the commune of Montournais.

Since the first edition in 2001, about one thousand pupils and students and over three hundred British people / have taken part into this project.  For the seventh time in DODI, we feel very happy to welcome twenty French adults living in Montournais.  No doubt, they will do their best to speak English.

This project is made possible thanks to a few sponsors. We will thank them at the June meeting. We have invited a few people to show them what D.O.D.I. PROJECT is like.

First of all, Mrs Gaillard our head who knows how important it is to support D.O.D.I. PROJECT.

We are very happy to welcome Mr Michel Guignard, the mayor of the commune, Mrs David and Mrs Renaudet town coucnillors and the French adults who have done a lot since last October.

Mr Guignard will say a few words about the commune during our meeting.

We won’t forget to mention the great help given by Mrs Elise Guilloteau the primary school teacher who has already done a lot of things with her twenty primary pupils.

You know that the main goal of this project, unique in France is to make meetings between French and English possible. So, one month ago, we met the French seniors in our school and taught them basic English.

They are a bit stressed but that's quite normal.   So, please encourage them to speak English as much as possible. To show their talent, they will sing one song during the meeting.

On Tuesday 4th February, we came to the primary school to teach basic sentences to the pupils.  Today, they feel stressed but we are sure  you will help them speak English too.

Now, we would like to thank the journalist, Mrs Chevallereau who has already written a few articles about the project.

A warmful thank you to the British adults who accept to participate to this new adventure.

And thank you to the twenty-three pupils from Saint-Joseph's school. We started working on the project last November. We hope you won't be disappointed.

After breakfast, we will do three activities. Each one will last about thirty minutes.

Answering questions about the commune, reporting information after watching photos and videos.

Answering questions about the commune with the help of a few notice-boards.

Matching, new words, expressions and photos about Montournais.

Now, it's breakfast-time and it is time to ask the first questions. But before, Mrs Chevallereau would like to take a photo of each team. So, let's go!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST... TRY TO DO YOUR BEST

REMEMBER …... WITH D.O.D.I. TAKE IT EASY …...

NO STRESS!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

ENJOY YOUR BREAKFAST!
