D.O.D.I. PROJECT 20 - MONTOURNAIS - MARCH MEETING - THE BRITISH ADULTS' IMPRESSIONS ABOUT THE STUDENTS

Publié par DODI PROJECT 10  - Catégories :  #D.O.D.I. PROJECT 20

The girl was polite and keen to take part. She was willing to engage and asked for and listened to our answers and advice.

The students from St Joseph’s, …. and … were superb!!

They worked really hard. Alice, the pupil at the primary school completed the writing up the answers for the activity of matching the pictures, after being shown the first example, on her own!! Brilliant.

All the students I spoke with were very cooperative and behaved extremely well!

The two girls were keen to participate in all the activities.  They were both able to understand what was being said and reply reasonably well in English.

One of the girl was able to cope well with the written work but the other one seemed to have trouble in writing things down.  As I have always found the girls were very nice and polite a credit to their parents and the school.

Very impressed with the attitude of the two students. They worked at the task with great application and were very pleasant to work with. The two younger pupils contributed more than I expected.

Unfortunately, one of the two seemed either unwilling or unable to speak English. The students had not done sufficient preparation and seemed not to know what questions they should ask during breakfast. They did not appear to have a complete set of papers for the activities.

Once they’d gained a little confidence, both of them entered into the activities with enthusiasm. Two very likeable young people. A third, and younger participant became restless and started to lose interest towards the end.

I always enjoy meeting the students. Both our students made a real effort.

Our two students were polite, keen to learn and a joy to work with.  They were a little unprepared as to what they were doing over breakfast and had to be prompted to ask their questions, but once they got over their initial nerves, they engaged well with us and the tasks.

Both students were polite and keen to participate. One of the girls in particular was the more confident. All four children worked very well together for the matching activity.
